Dimension Stone Group Australia – Supplier of Natural W.A. Stones for medium to large scale commercial projects, Australia-wide.
In the mid-1990s the Verde Austral stone was used in the construction of prestigious buildings in Sydney City such as Governor Phillip Tower, Governor Macquarie Tower, First Government House Museum, and buildings at Darling Harbour. Verde Austral was also used for all external paving at Martin Place Sydney.
Later, the stone was one of three dimension stones specified by the Sydney City Council for use in upgrading public areas prior to the Olympic Games in 2000. Verde Austral was used extensively as kerbing stones and paving slabs in main streets and public places in central Sydney. Other paving projects included the Channel 10 Building, Townhall House and the Ritz Cinema, all in Sydney. Rockhampton Courthouse in Queensland.
Perth’s Concert Hall and the foyer of the Perth Town Hall paving.
More recently, City of Perth City used the stone for the first section of St Georges Terrace paving being upgraded between Barrack and William Sts.
First stage of the Northbridge Link project has just been completed.
All new City of Perth Library has used Verde Austral for all external claddings, external paving and internal flooring and staircases.
